The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: “On the day of Resurrection, Allah will pour molten lead into the ears of whoever sits listening to a songstress”

2. Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet said: "I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful." It was asked, "Do they disbelieve in Allah?" (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, "They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, 'I have never received any good from you."

3. Narrated Abu Musa:
Some people asked Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him), "Whose Islam is the best? i.e. (Who is a very good Muslim)?" He replied, "One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands."

The Prophet (may peace be upon him), "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself."

The Prophet said "None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind."

7. Narrated Al-Ahnaf bin Qais:
While I was going to help this man ('Ali Ibn Abi Talib), Abu Bakra met me and asked, "Where are you going?" I replied, "I am going to help that person." He said, "Go back for I have heard Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) saying, 'When two Muslims fight (meet) each other with their swords, both the murderer as well as the murdered will go to the Hell-fire.' I said, 'O Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him)! It is all right for the murderer but what about the murdered one?' Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) replied, "He surely had the intention to kill his companion."

I heard Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established."

9. Narrated Abu Qatada:
Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said, "Whenever anyone of you drinks water, he should not breathe in the drinking utensil, and whenever anyone of you goes to a lavatory, he should neither touch his penis nor clean his private parts with his right hand."

10. Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (may peace be upon him) said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jummah prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."

11. Narrated 'Adi bin Hatim heard The Prophet (may peace be upon him) saying: "Save yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half a date-fruit in charity."

12. Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (may peace be upon him) said, "Seven people will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His. They are:
(1) A just ruler;
(2) A young man who has been brought up in the worship of Allah, (i.e. worship Allah (Alone) sincerely from his childhood),
(3) A man whose heart is attached to the mosque (who offers the five compulsory congregational prayers in the mosque);
(4) Two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only;
(5) A man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for an illegal sexual intercourse with her and says: I am afraid of Allah;
(6) A person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity).
(7) A person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes get flooded with tears."

13. Narrated Hakim bin Hizam:
The Prophet (may peace
be upon him) said, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand (i.e.
he who gives in charity is better than him who takes it). One should
start giving first to his dependents. And the best object of charity is
that which is given by a wealthy person (from the money which is left
after his expenses). And whoever abstains from asking others for some
financial help, Allah will give him and save him from asking others,
Allah will make him self-sufficient."

The Prophet (may peace be upon him) said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it."

Abu-l-Qasim (The Prophet (may peace be upon him)) said, "On Friday there is a particular time. If a Muslim happens to be praying and invoking Allah for something good during that time, Allah will surely fulfill his request." The Prophet (may peace be upon him) pointed out with his hand. We thought that he wanted to illustrate how short that time was.

24. Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea."

The Prophet (may peace be upon him) said, "Allah said: The Fast is for Me and I will give the reward for it, as he (the one who observes the fast) leaves his sexual desire, food and drink for My Sake. Fasting is a screen (from Hell) and there are two pleasures for a fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord. And the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better in Allah's Sight than the smell of musk."

I said to Ibn 'Abbas, "During the battle of Khaibar The Prophet (may peace be upon him) forbade Al-Mut'a (temporary marriage) and the eating of donkey's meat."
